Sammiches

Summer is here, your life is hectic. You’d rather be outside than in. The stomach is grumbling and you can’t ignore the call. You need to refuel with something that’s not going to go right through you like some kid on a waterslide. The answer is simple… sammiches. No not sandwhiches, but sammiches because they’re ?mmm so good.?

I present to you three of my all time favourites. Not only are they tasty, but they’re quick to make and easy on your pockets.

The first note I’d like to make, before I present the sammich list, is that anyone who wishes to make the most delicious sammich should invest into a toaster oven. These devices will evenly toast your bread while warming up all of the ingredients and melting the cheese.

On to the sammiches!

D’s Garden Ranch Slam

  • Bread, I prefer 12 grain myself
  • Renee’s Gourmet Garden Ranch Dip (this is the key to this sammich)
  • Honey Roasted Turkey
  • Swiss Cheese
  • Dijon Mustard
  • Sweet pickles

From Russia With Love

  • Russian Rye bread
  • Havarti
  • Mustard/Mayo
  • Lettuce

The Classic ?PBB? (not recommended for toaster oven)

  • Bread, it doesn’t matter what kind but I recommend staying simple; whole wheat or white.
  • Peanutbutter.
  • Banana slices.

So these are just three of my favourites. The great thing about sammiches is that you can put whatever the heck you want on it and it’ll probably taste good… well… if all else fails I’m sure Fido will chomp it down. And if you created something so attrocious that your dog won’t even eat it, just toss it to the guy that digs in your trash every morning and try again at lunch time.
