Marcel – Changes Colours Again
On behalf of our friends at the Good Looking, here’s the audio stream, the video stream and the free MP3 download of the lead single , taken from Marcel’s album, Gamblers’ Delight.
‘Change Colours Again’ features the brilliant Ghanaian singer Sena, it will be the first single from the album, Gamblers’ Delight, with a heavy hitting remix from Sugardaddy, AKA Tom Findlay of Groove Armada fame, alongside Tim Hutton.
With all the talk of relaxing the licensing laws for casinos, have Good looking yet again second-guessed the mood of the nation with Gamblers’ Delight? Or is it more a reference to succeeding in these choppy music industry times? Either way the facts are that you have to be in it to win it and Marcel obviously loves a flutter..
Gamblers? Delight is Marcel’s third LP, but his first for LTJ Bukem?s Good Looking label group. After making a few singles, which found there way onto compilations like ?Future Sound of Budapest? in the late 90?s, Marcel signed to UCMG. His debut album Viginti et Duo was released in February 1999, with Nuphonic Records licensing the maxi single On the Beach for UK release.
Marcel completed his second album, titled Cirrus Maximus in 2000. To support the album, Marcel honed his live act and emerged as a crowd pleaser, when touring with label mate De-Phazz.
Singles followed for London based label Fluid Ounce Recordings, under his alias Carmel. Then as Marcel for Good Looking Records and the Earth compilation series.
Gamblers’ Delight walks you through the door of a plush casino, (think 70?s Bunny Girl fun meets Monte Carlo yachts 2005) and your somewhere close…MC Conrad is your croupier for the evening, taking you between moods and music, your friend on the inside.
Change Colours Again features the brilliant Ghanaian singer Sena, it will be the first single from the album, with a heavy hitting remix from Sugardaddy, AKA Tom Findlay of Groove Armada fame alongside Tim Hutton. Sena also features on Man Meeting Girl, her diverse talent has not gone unnoticed by other producers, like Vadim and the French DJ, Spider of Colorblind fame who are both utilising her vocal skills.
Memories features Cee-Rock ?The Fury? from New York, his deep lyrics create a catchy track for the clubs and Higher (Mi Amor) shows Marcel moving effortlessly into Drum & Bass, getting the LTJ Bukem seal of approval.
I Like To Tell Ya Thingz is the crown jewel of Marcel’s and MC Conrad’s collaboration. Conrad is more than just the narrator, he is playing the game. His distinctive voice feeding your addiction…

Runnin The Poirier Riddim
If you can’t handle hard hitting, body jerking, up tempo beats and heavy bass fused together with dancehall, kuduru, soca, afrobeat and blaring horn sounds, then you are in no way ready for the riddims Poirier has to deliver.
