How to Submit?

Are you interested in submitting to the Reading for New Times (R4NT) magazine?

It's easy and fun!*

What it takes is idea or concept in any form of media, that you think our community would find interesting. Topic, style and substance are completely freeform. R4NT editors reserve the write to make changes to submissions.

R4NT is Canadian in origin, however, it has evolved into an international venture with readership, submissions and partnerships from countries across the globe. As such, we are always looking for diverse international opinions and submissions. Countries previously represented include Canada, United Kingdom, United States, France, Poland, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea.

The Reading for New Times magazine is also devoted to getting the word out on alternative artistic projects. If you are interested in applying for a special feature and live or work in Calgary or Toronto, R4NT staffers would be pleased to meet you at your gallery, shop, recording studio, cave or house of business for an interview.

Submissions can be written, graphical or musical in nature, so all you aspiring (or established) writers, photographers, artists, musicians can contact the R4NT staff. Please send contact us at contact at r4nt.com.

  • Written submissions are expected to be over 500 words in length. Longer submissions may be broken up to run serialized over a few months.
  • If submitting an image, please compress them in JPG, ZIP/RAR format for it to be featured in a R4NT gallery. If interested in submitting a large number of images please contact us prior to sending.
  • If submitting music, please send in MP3 format.

Submissions are due on the 25th of each month.

*It is easy as long as you're talented and can construct an interesting review/article/expose in five hundred to one thousand words. R4NT management makes no legal representation about the quality or quantity of fun provided herein.
