R4NT is a trend setting news magazine focusing on issues that concern and interest our readers. Our demographic could be described technologically, economically and politically inclined twenty and thirty-somethings, however that simple categorization would do our readers an injustice. R4NT appeals to a large cross section of the population who look to the internet for interesting viewpoints and intelligent discussions.
R4NT was established in March 2001 and has grown into its fifth publishing year more aggressive and self-assured. R4NT now has offices in Calgary and Toronto and is actively looking to create exciting content with institutions and companies across the country. Additionally, the magazine now enjoys both international readership and partnerships.
The devoted Reading for New Times staff provide opinions and accounts that the mainstream media may not cover (or cover well). Beyond the flagship op/ed pieces, the magazine is made up of media submissions as well as reviews of music, art, products and places. While conspiracy theories abound on the internet, R4NT is a medium for well thought out new ideas and viewpoints and is not what you would expect from an 'unconventional media source'.
We at R4NT have worked with the organizations listed to bring readers bleeding edge music releases, product reviews and exclusive interviews. We are focused on "content creation" and not simple reporting.
