Want disco? Don’t own a time machine? Chris Joss delivers some of the funkiest sounds I’ve heard in this new millennium. Potentially the new soundtrack for whatever is the next Austin Powers movie, or the theme music for ‘Under Cover Brother 2’. Overall a mediocre album due to the lack of variations, then again if you looooove da funk, you shall looove da Joss. 7/10

Watch closely.. 2 CD’s first one = 4 Hero remixes, second CD = mixes of 4 Hero. Ok, now you’re up to speed. Less funk than Chris Joss, and more classic cause it’s 4 Hero, but skippable cause it’s not really all that special (did I mention it’s $42 USD?). Stick with the original releases from 4 Hero. 4 / 10
Rae and Christian – Northern Sulphuric Soul

If you haven’t heard R&C before they are worth slowing down your music piracy for. Having produced several killer albums already, they continue to mash out original new tracks that mix hip hop, breakbeats, turntablism and even sometimes pop music. This album however is a remastered of their original 1998 release but also includes 3 previously unreleased tracks: Time to Shine, Premotion and Bacalau. This album is worth every penny, even if it was just for the new extra tracks. 9 / 10

The festival attracts a lot of outsiders, but the Mediterranean, Spanish and more specifically Catalan nature of the people makes the festival what it is. Catalan people are passionate and this passion is infectious. The atmosphere is electric in Barcelona as a city and heightened by music and intoxicants at Sónar.

Oysters, like wine are affected by terroir and these Miyagi’s flavor profiles ranged with one showing a cleaner, almost tropical profile and the other being more salty, marine driven. As I was devouring the seemingly endless plates put in front of us, I sipped on a glass of fine sauvignon blanc.

No matter what, the reality of Nelson Mandela is something that deserves screen time. Should this film even remotely intrigue the masses to take interest in this figure, the world would likely benefit greatly from it.
